My free samples arrived today from drtimsaquatics, a 4oz. bottle of One and Only AND a 2oz. bottle of First Defense--this was an unexpected bonus!! :thm: In my pm to him I mentioned that I was doing a re-set of my 55. I should be ready by the end of the week, hopefully sooner, to add theses products and the fish.....I will keep you all posted.

Also I not qualified to know who’s highly regarded on the forum – it is just numbers of posts? It takes a while to get to know people and for them to know you. I think that if you just start trying to get people to test your products by giving them away they’ll be suspicious of you and then even if they are ‘brave’ enough to post a positive note and put up with what Lenny did after he started this thread does someone reply that he gave you juiced stuff so, of course, it worked and all the other negative things that people say?

As for samples – where you draw the line? Do I give out 10, 100? How do I decide who’s qualified and who’s not? It’s not easy to be fair about it.

i think i been here long enough and with i hope a good enough rep to at least talk about the fresh water side of things here on ac.....

Both times Dr Tim been out to my local fish club (COAST, last time i even got to intro him) he really didnt even mention his site nor try to hawk his products. i know i would have at least plugged my own site thats for sure. both times was just a wealth of info. great down to earth easy to understand guy from what i have seen. i havent used his product though. i didnt know about bio spria when i started and now i have so many tanks i can cycle my own. he didnt form his own company until much later after i started. since i havent used it i cant come out and support it but i from knowing him i wouldnt dismiss it. i really do think it works. i have had a few people i know use it and havent had any bad complaints from it.....

as about samples.... Dr Tim has given out many samples. its over way over 100 if what he gave to my club is any indication. just goes to show he supports local clubs which is a even greater plus in my book.
