Boy Vilhelm..you wouldn't like a few of my tanks!!
My kids picked out their own colors...yikes with my daughters!
I think natural tanks are gorgeous..I just don't do them that way though.

PS...why do people always go to the mispelling of others when they are annoyed? Everyone makes a typo you know. You know what is being said, why make such a deal out of the mispellings?

I make a lot of typo's--in fact I am famous for them
and miss spell stuff all the time
I really don't care if he can spell of not
it was my way of putting someone who felt it perfectly normal to tell people there design "stinks" in his place
Obviously a lot of people use colored rocks, and different decorations-----
and I don't mean ill will towards Vil but
like I said earlier there is a way to go about something and a way that pisses people off--
I mean if someone posts there pic and asks you what you think of there tank and you say something like
"hmmm.. I'm not big on teh colored gravel, I like to go with a more natural look myself"
but to just come out and say
You use colored gravel your tank stinks
I found to be a little rude

I am with Baraka. I have seen this post for the past couple days and I decided to read it. It was a little offensive to just come out and say your design stinks. I am one of the ones that has the blue gravel and the plastic plants. Personally it does bring out the color of the fish more and the fish show up real good. Especially on my new tank cause the fluoresent light just shines on the gravel and the tank gives of a pretty glow. LOL I am also one of those bad typers as most notice.
I go back to the point I was trying to make before. When I see people criticize Vilhelm's spelling or even a particular turn of phrase, I suggest that they remember he is Swedish, and is doing this all in another language. Which reminds me of the classic compliment paid to Ginger Rogers: not only did she do everything Fred Astaire did, she did it in high heels, BACKWARDS.

I have natural gravel and PLASTIC plants, which look good enough for me once a little algea grows on them.
ok,excuse me,i am sorry,i think the smilies should work in subject and post.maybe what a heck and stink are very bad words over there, i didnt now(look to much at movies).Harry, i have stockholm at east and oslo(norway) at west,i live right in the middle.
Im with Baraka too. It wasnt that "heck" and "stink" were bad words its that the sentiment vil expressed was RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL. Rarely have I seen a more mean spirited topic started on this forum and I must say it is quite out of place. Remember the title "WHAT THE HECK YOUR DESIGN STINKS" I mean come on !! how can anyone defend this guy? This topic should have been ignored. He didnt just say your tank sucks he said "what the heck" which to me expresses his OUTRAGE at the way some choose to display their tank. I guess I shouldnt be too hard on him tho obviously he has some maturing to do....
