What are some interesting/pretty large freshwater fish?

OK, keeping in mind everything grows, how about this Jiddle...
- 2 paired discus
- 10 to 15 cardinal or neon tetras
- 6 kuhli loaches
- an albino bristlenose pleco or two
- and a few hatchet fish
- maybe some glass ghost cats (since they're on your 'must have' list)
???

I would try to figure out which.
Both the glass/ghost cats and the hatchets are also schoolers. At least 10 of the cats, at least 6 of the hatchets. Hatchets are jumpers, so you should have a good cover.
According to aqadvisor, the bristlenose, hatchets, and cats all like slightly cooler water than the discus.
