What can I add?

make sure you are using compact florescent lighting if your 10g uses the screw in kind of bulbs, rather than the regular screw ins because those aren't meant for plants. your white clouds may decide to mate once the cycling process is completed.

i have 2 10w cfl's for lighting - how many wpg does that give me and what type of plants can i have in what light range? i want something pretty low maintenance w/no co2 injects.

my white clouds are mating btw, just dont know what happens to the eggs. i do have some java moss in there so hopefully that helps some, but i also have some of those longish spiral-shaped snails (can't think of the name right now) - maybe they're eating them?

u should get some corys, like 4-6, they'll help keep ur gravel free from rotting food, and they'll also add alot of activity

I was actually thinking of adding some pygmy corys, but how long should I wait before adding them and how many would my max be? i thought they were kinda sensitive and needed to be in a well-established tank?

I would not add the pygmy cory's. though they can live at cooler temps(mid 70's from what I understand), I wouldn't want to stress them in cooler water nor would I want to stress the white clouds with warmer water...

yeah, it's not a good idea to mix warm and cool water fish together. it makes them have to live in water that is not comfortable for either of them. if your fish are mating that is a good sign. the tank is still cycling though, right? so the eggs might not grow. if you end up planting the tank( and i thing that you have enough light to do so) then the fry will have more hiding spots to grow out in and a higher survival rate. the snails are a good addition to help keep the tank clean and healthy, if you are talking about malaysian trumpet snails. i have never planted a ten g (yet) but if you want the fish to mate i'd add some clumps of java moss or some other kind of moss. java fern and lace java fern are also some easy options but i'm not sure if they'd outgrow the tank or not. sometimes adding interest to a tank that does not seem very busy is better done with aquascaping rather than by adding more fish. if you are really set on adding another species to the tank, go with something that has similar heat requirements and a similar tempermant and activity level to avoid possible problems.
