No clue on ID, but I'd say it's a young one with plenty of growing still to do. The long barbels and deeply forked tail generally indicate larger predatory cats. Is it up for grabs, or do you plan on keeping the mystery fish?
I guess it depends on what it ends up being. I have the same thoughts that it looks like something which will end up big. Ironic that it came in with pygmy cories....
Nice lil fella. Hmmm I wouldnt mind giving that lil guy a home. Imagine find out a yr down the road its a potential 2foot long catfish lol. Would be nice to raise the lil guy out. Maybe try MFK's they may know.
Maybe post the pics on planetcatfish in the SA/Everything Else folder? Take a look at Pimelodella gracilis and see if that matches yours. Most likely some species of Pim. in any case.
yea i think u found it i say u grow it out and see how big it gets if it gets to big sell it......... it will probly stay under 10" but get bigger than 5".... I also wouldnt put with inverts will probly just tear them up.....
