what do you think is the best schooling fish

Black skirt tetras. A group of 5 is perfect. They all seem to have personality outside of the family but love to school together.

I think a large group of blue diamond discus with cardinal tetras would be impressive to watch.

I like the way my black skirt tetras school.

Never known my danios to school, they ussually spread out and swim like crazy fish. Tho, sometimes at night when the lights are off they will form a group of 3-5 and skimm along the substrate in a tight group. Always figured that was some sort of mateing behavior but i guess i dunno.

harlequin rasboras. not too flashy, but still eye catching.

the best tetra for schooling has got to be either the bleeding heart tetra or the red eye tetra

for cichlids, angels are pretty good schoolers once the group gets big enough

and for barbs, they are all pretty good schoolers, but tiger barbs and tinfiols are probably the best.

most danios are great schoolers

Another vote for harlequin rasboras.
They stick together like glue no matter how many or few. <<<<< Dr. Suess rhyme potential
