What do you think the most underrated "common" fish is?

Dare I say Betta?:lipssealedsmilie:

I use to dislike them and overlook them because I thought as them as the "noob fish that has to be kept alone". I only got my first one because he was really ugly and looked sick and I figured for $2.79 I'd give him a home no one else would. But once you start to get into them they have great personalities and there is so much variety (Personally I think no common fish looks better than a good betta). I guess that ends my rant of sorts...

I also agree with the albino cory.

Zebra danios...most people just keep them after cycling (thats sort of what happened to me) but I think they're great fish...spastic, but cool to watch.

I'd also add in cherry barbs, bronze corys (aeneus), swords.

I actually think fancy goldfish are the most under rated! When it comes to tropicals, maybe black skirt tetras? I think they're so pretty and they sure are a hardy choice for newbies, too, but pretty enough to fit into so many community tanks and be an asset.

Sailfin mollies. All the "livebearer haters" out there really tick me off, lol. My BW tank is so active and bright, I love my mollies.

Common Goldies are THEE most underrated fish you can buy. Massed bred for food and treats, able to survive almost anywhere in almost any conditions, it is a very active fish with a great personality. Most of u fish people here probably started with a common goldfish. They are the most recognized fish but the least renowned.

Ahaha what on earth. Also, I agree about bettas.

what was the vid about?

well if u dont want to tell me...
