Yeah I was raised that way myself. Turned blue a few times challenging my dad to not eating Lima Beans. I HAD to eat them then, I throw them in the trash when he makes them now.

I'm not big on organs (except as used to fill sausage casings).
I like raw spinach, but not cooked. I'll eat sweet potato chips but not any other form of sweet potato or yam.
I try to stay out of the Annelid phylum.
Aside from these things, I'm game. Numerous Chordates, Mollusks (cephalopods, bivalves & gastropods), certain Arthropods, several Monerans and a good number of plant species are all on my menu.
Nothing. I will, and have, tried every kind of food avaliable. Now I have a list of dislikes, but there's nothing I will not try if it's prepared by someone with experience.
