What is considered "heavily planted"?

This is my 55g I described above. Every one of these plants were plastic tube or bag plants that were in bad shape when I bought them (on sale). No specific ferts or CO2 added. Chunky black gravel with some colors mixed in. I don't gravel vac. Tank gets a weekly 25-30gal water change.

Wow that is a really healthy looking tank you've got there! Having basic gravel I'd imagine not gravel vaccing is proving to be beneficial

These are beautiful. You have to keep eye on them and need to take care of them.

I consider my aquarium to be moderately planted, the reason being I do need to add fertilizer but it is not completely filled with plants. I have had aquariums with less plants in them that require no additional fertilizer or CO2, I call these lightly planted.
