What Is my car worth?

The best deal you are goin to get for such a well maintained car is to continue to drive it, save money.
Otherwise you are going to sell it for not much, and buy a different car which will either cost a lot of money, or else it will need all sorts of maintenance.
Drive the wheels off the Taurus.

Very good point...I wish I had kept mine.

Check out the

Kelley Blue Book Configurator on this page:

Might be cheaper to keep it.

The guy asking $5K on ebay for an 88 GL with 25K miles is dreamin'...

Drive the wheels off the Taurus.
sounds about right. IMO it's not worth what you've put into it already.

you might want to wait it out and baby it until you get a replacement then drive it like you stole it. at least that way you can enjoy it for what it's worth.

To be completely honest, if I was looking for a car and I saw yours on the side of the road and was interested in it I would offer you $500. If you counter offered I would simply walk away.

Beat me to it, no one is going to pay much for a 22 year old Ford Taurus regardless of the condition. It is not old enough or good enough to be a classic, simply an old car that no one is really going to want.

Keep it, drive it till it falls apart.

I have a 88 ford Taurus that I'm looking to sell,
... new radiator, condensor, fender, front end as well as
brand new headlights,...

Why the new parts?
Was it wrecked?
Was it repainted?

Got pix?

As already stated, $2500+ is not gonna happen.
You'd probably be lucky to get $1000 for it, and that entirely depends on the shape its in.

I agree with the fact that you should just dive it till the wheels fall off.

I don't recommend diving the car or the wheels will fall off. Driving might be the best option. LOL :hitting:

Thanks for proof reading my posts. :silly:

The transmission will fail long before the wheels fall off.

Either keep driving it or put a HUGE "For SALE" sign in the windshield and park it across the steet from the nearest high school or community college campus (will probably yield better results once school is back in session).
