What is this guy?

[FONT=arial,sans-serif][SIZE=-1]Pseudo Elongatus Mpanga Cichlid ...I have 3 of these guys, all around the 5"+ mark, I love how their tail will go a lemony yellow while the body stays deep blue and black. They look like pitbulls, but I have found them to be rather non agressive. It took me a long time to id these fellows also. Enjoy them, their moods are truly reflected in their colours.[/SIZE][/FONT]

Well, Pitbull's suggestion was more believeable, as not onl the males of that species look like what I have, but also the females as well.

Addtionally, how much does a Jalo Reef afra usually go for? How much of a steal did I get these fish for when i paid 5 bucks a piece?

hey buddy jalo reefs go for around 12 bucks at normal size and about 5 bucks at the inch and half size here, id say you got a deal buddy, actually i am off to get a trio tomorrow if bluegrass cichlid doesnt have pseudotropheus sp. elongatus chewere in i am also looking into the cynotilapia afra cobue as well it has more yellow than the jalo does, i am starting a new malawi setup i still have my tangs going, just setting up a new 55gal, later buddy..
