Shouldn't be a female if it is a Peacock, females tend to stay around the gray silver coloration but i do believe i would have to agree with you it looks like a Stuartgranti..
i just learned that changing his ph will make him colour up more. is this actually true? if so, how do i go about doing that in a way that it will be stable?
Yeah a lot of hobbyist will say haps and peacocks do not need rocky habitats but as you have stated he is doing tons better with the formation of a rocky column now i wouldnt go over board with the rocks but in a sense i would think that all fish need some sort of retreat in the form of caves and plants.. have fun with this fish he is very beautiful..
