What kind of Salt Mix do you use?

I don't add table salt to my fish, I do like them with a bit of lime juice when grilling though.

I'd say convince him to buy another tank and make it a reef, his freshwater planted tank looks pretty good!

As for myself, I use Instant Ocean, bought 160G bucket, might change it for Reef Crystals next.

Reef Crystals all the way....the lack of buffering needed was the main thing that made me stick with them..

Reef Crystals for me as well. I used to buy salt water from LFS but when I got my own RO/DI unit I used the recommendations from this site and chose Reef Crystals. The fact I used to have to buffer my water before and now I don't proves to me it was worth the change.

I must be the odd one. I use Tropic Marin Pro on the advice of my LFS and it has kept the tank quite well.
