What to do with a spare tank...

I hear you. I'm lucky that my son's dad is a cabinetmaker/contractor and he has learned quite a bit over the past 18 years. I do have to threaten him with extra yardwork if he doesn't work on my stand some more though. If you had told me a year ago that I'd allow a 2x4 skeleton frame with skimmers, pumps, ballasts and such in the middle of my greatroom I'd have laughed you right out of my house.

I HAD a guest room...now its a FISH ROOM!!! empty 110 w/ sump and a ton of fish supplys im so doing a before and after pic of that room. The only thing left to do after I have that room like I want it is to buy a laptop so I can cruise AC from in there rather than my living room.

I have a big house but not really fish room friendly. Not unless I get rid of my garage and move the tank into the library/study where I am now. Hmmm....

funny you should mention that I was considering moving and that is one of the things I told the real estate agent. Is there any way to take this 2 car garage out and make it a nice hardwoodfloor room? He said yes we can do that but why would you want to. I said I have a lot of fish tanks and I want my neighbors to wonder what that blue glow is from the front of my house :D

gotta love knowing whos a fishkeeper just by walking outside your house

nice. Funny how Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar off topic we are...
