my sis, (who has never kept fish) bought me this tank: http://www.bigalsonline.ca/catalog/product.xml?product_id=30635&category_id=2173&pcid1=2253

very cute but sooooooo small. i dont think i would even want to keep a betta in it. I was wondering (since i seem to have a constant supply of guppy fry, if maybe i put 3 or 4 fry in there at a time, and when they get to big, ill just put them beck into the main tank. what do you think? will this work? or any different ideas would be awesome.

whoh. I've never seen a tank like that before. its creative, but not very practicle in my oppinon. reminds me of an ant farm.
I'm not sure if guppy fry would be happy in there. they need warm water, and there sure isn't room for a heater in there! other than that, they'd probably be safer in there than the main tank with mum and dad trying to eat them!
maybe you could keep shrimp or something? I don't know anything about them though, so I could be wrong

Wow, I don't like dissapointing people, but that's only 10 cups of water... or just a little over two litres. Eesh, I couldn't suggest anything for a tank that small... Maybe as a brine shrimp hatchery? Sea monkies...

not to be mean, but i would think that tank is useless.. IMO..... :o

I know, I know... but like i said... my sis gave this to me. i was just trying to think of something to do with it, so she wouldnt be like "why dont you have it out?" she is just a kid, so i dont want her to cry. i keep my guppys at room temperature because that tank is in a rather warm room, becase of the desert terrium in there, so not even 3 guppy fry would fit in there? :( well, i guess it was my fault that i ended up with this tank becausea while ago, i was surfing the web, and she was here, and i saw it, and said it was pretty neat (of course if it was bigger) and she went home, and got mom and dad to get it for me, and then she gave them her money for it.thats too bad. ill think of something. maybe a vase......

huh, that is a good idea Harlock, i would give it a shot :dance

How about some plants and snails?
this was my 1st thought too, or mabey even just the snail. Or hows abouts those pink jellyfish(plastic) the sell for the spongebob tanks. I bet a bubble wand would fit nicely at the bottom(needed for "jelly action").
