I searched! Honest 'cuz I know its been posted b4 and I didn't bookmark it. When I searched for it, the only match I get was one back in January that only mentions it with no address. Even searching for it in just the title (which I know it's been posted as) revealed nothing:confused:
 
On my last visit to The Fish Place, the worker indicated that they did not have a web page at that time. There is That Fish Place, which is not the same place (www.thatfishplace.com). Of course, that was in March, but I don't think they have a webpage, really.
 
Are you two trying to get me dizzy? OrionGirl, you were in NY and visited the store? ChilDawg, ThatPetPlace (I have to assume it's the same one I get catalogs from) is not the one in question. I'm talking about a LFS in western NY, isn't ThatPetPlace located in PA? I'll check it out anyway.

No no no, that's not the one. I remember checking out the site and I don't believe it was even called thefishplace dot com. It was aqua-something. Anyway, can anyone else remember that there was a thread with a title that had "The fish place in N. Tonowanda" in it???? I'm going to try searching again.

:) Yep--my SO's family is in Northern NY, and we flew in and out of the Buffalo airport, so visited the store while we were in town. Maybe they have a web page, but don't sell fish through it? I know we asked about purchasing fish through the net, and were told they didn't have a page yet but it was in the works. ThatFishPlace is not the same thing at all. Here is their FINS entry--maybe just give them a call?

Whoops...I thought that was the one in Tonowanda. ****. Nobody should be allowed to have essentially the same store name as somebody else!!! :)

...you just don't let up, do you? Of course I googled it. Except I googled "The Fish Place". Want to guess how many sites came up? Wow, didn't think to use Tonawanda with the fish place. Did I mention I haven't been getting much sleep? Regardless, another DUH! is in order!!!

Gotcha OrionGirl. I won't tell you how long it took me to figure out what "SO's" stood for. Now I'm starting to feel sorry for me :eek:
Where 'bouts is your SO's family? It's a small world and I've been in central NY for 34 years. I'll understand if you don't feel like dropping any names.
 
Not a problem--they live in Great Valley, so it's more south-western NY. Only about 45 minutes from Buffalo. He has friends and family in Killbuck, Olean, West Valley...And at least one more small town that I can't think of right now....Ellicottville! Ahh. We will be going back out in September for another wedding--he's the best man in this one, as well as the one in March.
