You know, the ones that look like small plant pots cut in half and people use them for caves in their aquariums. I can't find them anywhere and how do they cut them in half, or do they come that way?

Also garden shops and WalMarts will have them....

Smash em? At least etch a line in them or better yet, use a Roto-tool (like Dremel) to cut them in half. Or, stand them upside down and cut a little doorway in the front, much more room inside this way.

ive tried all that stuff, dosent work. ive used dremels, hacksaws chisels. so i just soak them overnight (seems to make them less brittle and they wont all just shatter apart) then i start chipping off pieses with a hammer or a tile cutter should work they are like 8 bucks at homedepot. then i filedown the sharp edges. have a few in this tank. sometimes i silicone big chunks back on and just bury the ragged edges.

I like to smash 'em with a hammer too. As funny as it sounds, a broken flowerpot looks very natural or authentic in a tank. You can get real creative with the pieces too.
