You know, the ones that look like small plant pots cut in half and people use them for caves in their aquariums. I can't find them anywhere and how do they cut them in half, or do they come that way?

Smash em? At least etch a line in them or better yet, use a Roto-tool (like Dremel) to cut them in half. Or, stand them upside down and cut a little doorway in the front, much more room inside this way.
ive tried all that stuff, dosent work. ive used dremels, hacksaws chisels. so i just soak them overnight (seems to make them less brittle and they wont all just shatter apart) then i start chipping off pieses with a hammer or a tile cutter should work they are like 8 bucks at homedepot. then i filedown the sharp edges. have a few in this tank. sometimes i silicone big chunks back on and just bury the ragged edges.
Large craft stores also have them... more for the smaller sized pots which sometimes the other stores mentioned above don't carry.

you got those to work on clay pots? howd you do it? it might but it was taking FOREVER so i whipped out the hammer
All the "dollar shops" in here have these kinda of pots for, well, $1 for 3 of the smallest size (2"diameter?) one. Big ones are $1 each...
