where to buy tanks?

oh i see, well does anyone know how good the light and hoods that come with walmart are?

well...i don't know what you mean "how good are the lights"...It comes with 2 22" 15w fixtures, bulbs included. They are perfectly fine for a fish only tank, as I said, but will obviously need to be upgraded for any planted tank. I'm not sure waht you mean though....30w is 30w. T he hood is just two plastic halves that have a slot for the light to rest in in the back, and a flap that lifts up to get in the tank. Its the same set up as their other tanks, just bigger:)

well i wanted to know how bright the bulbs were, Right now i got a 20g with the eclipse hood with 2 15 watt bulbs, and i like the light it produces. Just curious if i will get the same brightness with the walmart deal. Oh also is there places to cut away in the back for filters and such? i would assume since it comes with a H.O.B. filter.

look in the paper, people are always getting rid of tanks. recently i picked up a 55 with oak stand powercompact hood, filters, air stones, food, logs, gravel, medicince, timer, python, nets, and fish (which i took to the lfs) for 150$. lots of deals from the local community.

catlid...yup, it has "pop out" perforated sections on each side...i think there are two per half of the tank..one big for the filter and one small for a heater. It comes with all the right parts to set it up correctly:)

But yah, it comes with 2 15w bulbs:) I honestly can't remember waht that looked like though...all I know is it works just fine for fish:)

u said there 22" bulbs, i havent seen any 22" bulbs, only like 20", 24" 36" 48"......

came with about 6 big mis matched tetra, a giant red rainbow, a 6" CAE, a big skunk loach and a 6" striped raphael catfish (which is the only one i kept. i tried to keep the skunk loach also but he was so mean he would chase the firemouth i added around all day.)

Sorry, total BRAIN FART! LOL I looked RIGHT at the bulb to be sure I gave you the correct info and definitely somehow wrote the wrong length! Oh boy...I've been tired lately!

Lets try this again:

The bulbs are 18" long (43.74 cm - now I'm looking right at it, I promise! lol) and 15w.
