which catfish you have and why

I have just added a synodontis multipunctatus...added because I love catfish...specifically chosen because of the other inhabitants (malawi)...and named after my best mate, because he's a nocturnal bottom feeder with boggly eyes.

He's the coolest fish in the tank :)

1 Clown pleco named Crusty - simply because I like their look
3 C. paleatus - one of my favorite looking cories with a cool history (discovered by Darwin while on his voyage on the Beagle)

I just got in two little wood eater's today. the little clowns disappeared as soon as i dropped em in the main tank and are as fast as orange lightening when they want to be.

4 upside downs ranging from .5"-2"
1 5" synodontis spp (labeled at the store as longirostris, still trying to figure out what it really is)
1 6" four line pictus, beautiful fish, the first catfish i've seen to actually inhale large tablets (and some select algae eaters), but fortunately leaves the other catfish alone

3 spotted cory's because I love the look and I need bottom dwellers.

make that 2 syondontis multipunctatus...the first guy was so cool I had to get him some company.

If I'm not careful I'm going to end up with a tank full of fish I see twice a year. I can see how you get hooked on catfish, L numbers, cories etc. etc. etc.

hoplo catfish - it is different fro mthe other catfish it looks cool it has scales of sorts and eats from my hand it is fairly active at all times of the day.

I love my little panda cories! (I'm seriously considering getting a larger tank, just so I can get more.....)
