Which fish are most interesting / most boring to watch?

A school of tetra or barbs are fun to watch. Plecos/catfishes that hide all day are boring.

Cories! omg mine are a hoot to watch... those guys never stop and they seem have such personality.

My plec is quite fascinating too.. he's surprisingly not shy at times, so I get to watch him from time to time.

The angel is gorgeous (stunning, really) and he does swim around a fair bit.

The tetras are always moving, though no where near as hilarious to watch as my cute little cories.

oscars and goldies are interesting to me..

i'm not a fan of schooling fish except in incredibly large school.. like 30 and 40...

Cories and healthy goldfish (NOT IN BOWLS) are my favorite fish to watch, the goldfish are SO active when I walk into the room, and the cories, well their self explanatory haha my piranhas are the MOST BORING FISH ON THIS EARTH. Their OK, but they never move, just sit there like their suspended... freaks lol

In music I enjoy rock, jazz and classical. People with children will tell you that they can't choose a favorite child. Why would I want to choose one fish over another? It depends on my mood. I like to watch the graceful movement of my black ghost. The athletic displays and darting movements of the anostomus are astounding. The rare appearances by the spotted rafaels and Farlowellas are pleasant surprises. Each species impresses in a different way. But not better or worse than the others. My experience in the hobby is enriched by the variety, the interactions, the unpredictability. My plecostomous is not boring because he rarely moves when the light is on and is very difficult to find. He is interesting, in large part because he marches to a different drummer. Variety is the spice of life and that variety peaks my interest.
Beasts

I enjoy watching my betta, over the other fishes or aquarium life that I have had. I have had a betta, a few differnt species of corys, some bamboo shrimp, red cherry shrimp, and bridgesii snails. My favorite has to be my betta or my red cherries. My betta is ERY interactive with me. Everytime I come up to the tank, he reacts differently. Like last night for example, I was playing with him. He'd come up to the tank, and he would put his mouth ABOVE water waiting for me to give him a treat. Then he would grab the worm, eat it and then swim in a circle while flairing, then he'd come back for more. My Red cherries are just interesting in general. I also was fascinated by my snails when I had them. VERY interesting creatures, especially when you have multiples geting to see them interact w/one another.
