I didn't know which one to pick, so I chose other lol. I have no experience with visitherm, but I absolutely HATE my fluvals. It takes a 200 watt heater to heat my ten gallon to 70 degrees!
I switched from a top-fin to a 250w visitherm "plus" heater or w/e it is w/ a thermometer build in and the knob on top. Works great for me the thermometer is accurate, it doesnt make a loud clicking sound when it turns on/off lol and I like that its fully submersible ( I know many are but my last was not, hard to keep it at the correct line)
I am not exactly sure but I think three of my posts became one. It's not exactly helpful because I am sure that once people discovered the posts were crossed I lost valuable answers. Hopefully the visitherm heaters are good because that is what marineland agreed to give me as a replacement.
Also when you guys say "other" in the poll it would be nice if you posted the name of the other heater so that I know. After my replacement heater fails on me in a couple of years I will need to get another. I may even setup one of my other 29 gallons in a few months so i will the need the names of the best heaters for that as well.
