Who has a pond?

Ive got a big pond on the house that was completly overgrown with a bed of grass when i moved in, i had to cut it into pieces with a chainsaw and drag it out in 2x8 sheets, they weighed a TON. Ive since cleaned it, cycled it, got alot of comets, probably 20+, 2 Koi, 1 Angelicus Catfish, and 3 Fullgrown Black Mollys which are breeding, and a zillion frogs.

Im curious to how many gallons my pond is, can anyone suggest a way to measure and find out?

Heres mine, if anyone can suggest plants that might grow good in it.. please let me know, it dont think its deep enough thats why the lillies are doing poorly. Thanks in advance

i have a 780 gallon liner pond in my backyard with a solid passing laguna 2100 gph pump(hahaha i have no darn messy prefilters) with a laguna 2300 pressuerized filter with uv light running my first waterfall. also i have a pond expsessions pressuerized filter with a 700 gph solid passing pump, and a homemade surface skimmer made out of an old pond box filter housing i bought for 6 bucks andthe skimmer is running a small 200 gph pump from a home improvement store. the pond is stocked with 3 feeder comets (to get the filter established) and 1 traditional white and gold koi and 3 butterfly koi

We have 1 pond which is about 560 gallons I think, its right in front of our house, along the walkway leading to our front door.

Its main filtration is in the waterfall; there are lava rocks and a plastic physical filter. There is also a pre-filter on the pump intake. There is no tubing built into the sides of the pond or anything, it connects to the waterfall tank hidden by that brown rock to the left of the waterfall.

There are lots of iris plants, a lillypad plant, and several others which I don't know the names of. Stocked with about 7 goldfish, I'm not really sure if they are koi or not.

My family installed this 3 summers ago. With the area cleared the fall before we put it in, it took about 2 full days to dig, put liner in and fill with water, then the next day we arranged the rocks and built the waterfall. It took a few months to plan.

I have a new pond 8'x11'x29" cycled for 6 weeks. I added after 1 week, 3 feeder goldfish (from inside aquarium 5 month) and I just added 1 gold koi (6")and 5 more goldfish (4"or 5"). My husband and I dug and installed the pond w/waterfall from a kit. Plants were added but will need to grow some to add cover. I am very happy and we spend lots of time out by the pond.

Check my sig, my 600 gallon tropical pond construction is underway! Right now its stocked with 4 white clouds, 4 gold barbs, 4 rosy barbs, 2 pineapple swords, 2 paradise fish, 2 dojo loaches. They are all growing like crazy and lovin it!
