Who has a pond?

I have a 1200 gallon Koi pond, and I keep adding more and more aquatic and marginal plants each year.

Have no idea what I am doing with the pond, I am just removing algae and scrubbing rocks. We bought the house last year and it came with the pond. I am trying to learn anything I can about it.

koi pond

I have a 1500 gallon Koi Pond but the koi are shy in this picture. I'll try to include the koi and the waterfalls in future photos(Wilmington, Ohio).
