Right now--I'm off to pick snails out of a tank and get little green sprinkles of joy all over my arms, towels, sink, floor......one of my cats waits for the duckweed to fall and eats it when it hits the floor.

lol..the stuff seems pretty crazy. i got like three peices of it stuck to the bag of plants i bought, so i added it to my tank. this was about three weeks ago. i now have about a hundred or more floating around in there. how the heck does it multiply so fast?

I've found that if you add some larger floating plants, like water lettuce and frogbit, that it crowds out the duckweed and helps keep it under control.
Flow also keeps it from spreading as rapidly...then it just finds a dead spot and continues it's evil ways...
