Wild Crayfish

I have a Procambarus acutus acutus. Very cool cray and lives in a tank with my ropefish, bichirs, and peacock eel. I sometimes see my ropefish underneith the cray just hanging out. Many times the bichirs sit right in front of the cray, sometimes touching its face, and it doesn't seem to care, hasn't tried to kill anything in there other than the bladder snails which I'm ok with lol.

did some quick research and found some info, i believe my guy are called red clawed swamp crays and the scientific name is (promcamarus clarkii). hope this helps. if you guys check the laws on shiping these guy to your area i may be able to send a couple.

Thank you- I might take you up on that later in the year! :)

Right now I wouldn't have anywhere to put one- but an awesome looking Crayfish.

Ok, I'm going with Orconectes propinquus because of the shape of the claws, lack of "rust spots", and smaller size. In that case I won't catch them and eat them since they are native and not invasive.
