wondering???

maybe get rid of the platys and the angel? this way you could properly keep about 15 neon sized fish, so, 8 neons, 4 ottos and 3 gohst shrimp, and nothing else, does that sound good to you? just so you know, you could have about a 100 fish, but I doubt any of them would live more than a day.

You could have a very nice tank with a school of 1 smallish species. Add in some shrimp and maybe a few cories and it would be cool. Got plants? This helps alot in making a tank look more full, rather than stuffing it with fish.

wait...is your biorbs one of the globe shaped ones? dunno if bottom dwellers would like that, not alot of bottom to dwell on!

I agree with removing the angel. Replace him with a betta, that would be a good choice. The angel definitely wont live a full happy life in that tank. They can live to be 10 years old or more and you will be lucky if he will live to be 2 and he WILL EAT your neons as soon as he gets big enough. I have not heard of one single case of cohabitation of an adult angel and a group of neons. Good luck with whatever you decide and I'm sorry you were misinformed in the first place. Remember the LFS's job is to make sales, if your fish die, you will have to come back in and buy more. I would highly recommend doing research on any future purchases.

Hey, dont knock snails. They are actually some of the neatest creatures you can have in a tank. Have you actually REALLY looked at them. They have the cutest faces, they clean up algae, their shells can come in tons of colors. My snails are among my favorite aquatic species.
