it's sad when someone comes in for advice and just ignores it and goes and does the complete opposite of what everyone suggests. Zoo, while you are correct, I think your concerns are fruitless to Flagfish at this point. If he says he's going to do it, you can tell him it's not a good idea until you are blue in the face.... he will do it anyway.... evidently

I quit talking as soon as I saw he bought another fish for that tiny little tank of his. Poor fish. Dontcha just wish there were fishie police to take care of uncaring fish owners?
