Wooohoooo!

her orange scales are on her top dorsal fin on her tail and 1 on her belly. the male (jobe) has long flowing fins but only 1 centimetre. wile the female (lilly) is an inch. wen shood they have babys?

I've seen convicts in our store tanks spawn at a little over an inch, inch and a half. You have a male-female pair so get ready for them to spawn like crazy. Once the first batch is ready to be taken out of that tank, they will be getting ready for the next batch...and so on and so forth. If you were wanting a steady supply of baby fish for your oscars, you got 'em!

YES! see i dont want to buy minnows cause he's just a little baby so i'll use fry! i'll keep u posted on wuts happing to them! :)

They make good parents after they get a little experience. The first few times they may make a few mistakes. Also, don't remove the babies too soon. One parent may believe the other ate the babies and kill it.

They make good oscar food when they are a couple of months old... the parents will raise the young

heres an update on the "couple": nothing theres ur update folks i'll give another update if somthing happens!

wenever my oscar gos into the driftwood the female convict bites his tale is this a sign that she has laied eggs or getting ready to lay eggs? the male (jobe) is really doing nothing.

another update: everyonce and awhile they go into the tank and start cleaing it and around it hmm.

they're foloing eachother around alot and it seems they are cleaning the driftwood iwonder what they are thinking?

Is this a "cave" where you cannot see all the way into. My 1st batch a few yeaRS ago, I didn't even know I had breeders till the eggs had already hatched. It sounds like they are trying, but if that oscar keeps bugging them, they might think 2ice
