I've also heard they can be picky eaters, but mine are eating absolutely everything edible out of the substrate and also food I drop in the tank, so they don't seem to have that issue.

With mine, when I first got them, I had that issue but after a week of pellets they decided that it was time for a change.
Those are just beautiful! I've never seen them before. I'll have to look into those when I start stocking the tank. What a good deal you got. I think it's amazing that the sales people have no idea what they're selling, better for us I guess
yea it's a great deal for me, a long time waiting. They are eating like pigs and love my flake as much as they do frozen blood worms. I've seen them pick flack over the bits of floating blood worm. I see 5 of them all the time, I'm afraid 1 is definitely mia. I'm glad the rest are well, as the tank was overcrowded with about 50neons, mollys and plecos in the LFS.

they could both be female and one with a slightly deformed head maybe? I guess it will be more easily discerned as they mature.
