Yavie, a Bearded Dragon (Pic HEAVY)

I think he was in shed, but the breeder seems to have gone out of business so I don't have any other photos of him. I'm working on another tank for Yavie. I'm really not happy with how her last one came out, so I'm either going to gut an old entertainment system and use that, or make a tank that would sit over my TV. I'm torn between the two ideas.

She's a adorable! My husband's dad has a male, and I find him quite amusing...

I have one silly little boy. Willy is a pig, and he's been the best pet I've ever had. I dont see how anyone could neglect herps honestly...

Cool thread. My son is considering getting a bearded dragon so I thought I would do a poking around. They seem pretty cool!

They're a great beginner lizard species. Most become super docile with regular light handling. They just need more room than say a leopard gecko. And they like veggies in their diet as well.

I second everything VF said, Also I can attest to the fact that they are very child handle-able. I take Yavie out a lot in the warm months and she's been held by many strange children. (Beardies are however, VERY allergic to bug spray so you can't wear any while handling them, or let them even be touched by someone wearing it)

Right not he looks like a rhino, because he has a cyst on his nose. I had someone check it out and they said that we will keep an eye on it but unless it is bothering him it might be better to just leave it.

My beardie, Lil, has a bump on his jaw. The vet pulled some cells from it and sent it to the lab for cytology. It's an infection of some kind, but doesn't seem to bother him at all. He just looks like he has a wart or something.
