Yellow Lab Question

I agree with the idea that genetics should be the main issue here. I have 4 labs and 1 of them is pale yellow. Because they should be bright yellow since very young, I'm sure that my pale lab and yours will sadly stay as they are; no matter what food they eat. I will be very happy if I'm wrong!

alright thank you...I will not get my hopes up too high then, but I will try some better foods...

my question then is, will their dull color be passed down to the fry, assuming they ever have any fry together?

Yeah, I don't stop giving high quality foods to my mbuna cichlids; trying to improve their coloration.
About your breeding question, you always would like to have parent fishes with the best coloration, to pass this trait to their offspring. Then, if the parents don't have good coloration, there is a higher chance for their offspring to receive the dull color genes from their parents. Maybe there will be fry with good color, but the chances to be dull colored fry are higher if their parents are also dull colored.

Alright I kinda figured that, just pick the best fry out and go from there sort of thing...what about ways to stimulate breeding?

yes you are..
lol what did you think of it? ive heard that she was faking and the whole thing was an act, so i feel a little better about it. lmao

Hey Liquid yeah i am still optimistic that it may be a food ordeal but as efors stated more than likely fouled genes..

Austin your not right man that poor woman with the bounce.. hehehe.. P.S. i laughed snot out of my nose..

there is like 1000 videos like that, just about every rap song imaginable has been made to go with that video. my favorite is the "walk it out flu shot" i laughed so hard i cried.
