You know what really pi$$es me off?

seriously, whenever I start my siphon, I take a nice, big swig of the water. I don't know why, but I love the taste of it. i'm not kidding! there's just some special flavor to it....

that is sick dude! dont think I could live without my python I can clean all of mytanks in 2 hours 15 minutes. I am not the one to drink fishy waste water. on the other hand I dont care about sticking my hand in tanks either.

mmm, the sweet taste of urine, feces, and fish TB. I can't even tell if you were joking or not, but I'm disturbed either way.

id not worry about it, it seems that worrying about every slight chance that somthing will go wrong makes it ruin the fun a fishkeeping

just wash your hands after (and before) you mess with the fish stuff and you should be fine, plus fish TB (not nearly as bad as human TB when humans get it) is rare, id compare it to getting sick from messing with spagum moss and getting sick!

you could get really sick... not just from TB but from other diseases and parasites living in the water.

Thank you for the reassurance, Lobo! That's basically how I calmed myself down, too. The possibility is always there, but if I take precautions I should be fine. Besides, I'm healthy otherwise!

I do come in contact with a lot of wild fish at work, though...
Although the nasties I get in my wounds (from their spines) in the ocean are probably no better or worse than what lives in my tanks at home.

Since this "make a total mess while doing your wc" affliction runs rampant in myself..

Do you think it is worth while to purchase a python for a 10 gallon tank? Seems to me that most have it for much larger tanks, yet it would make wc's so much easier. Any thoughts?

well, I do health check everyday, and if I get sick, then so be it. and c'mon, plah, is it really that sick? you do know some cultures eat guano? and I don't drink right off the bottom, I just drink the top water.
