You know you're a fishkeeper when.......

You have dreams about buying certain fish and wake up really disappointed when it turns out you really didn't acquire any.

You hear a noise in the middle of the night and you immediately go check on your tanks.

It starts to rain and the sound triggers you to make sure none of your tanks or filters are leaking.

During a power outage your aquariums take priority over anything else.

You have fishkeeping equipment that you may never use stored in various places, but you keep it around "just in case".

While channel surfing you stop on a channel just because you saw a fish or tank in the background and want to know what it was/what was in it.

Your LFS has specific equipment in stock just because you ordered a bunch of it at one point.

Someone special orders something through your LFS and when they do not pick it up the owner immediately asks you if you're interested.

You know your a fishkeeper when you wake up at 4:30 a.m. so you can clean tanks before school....

You know your a fishkeeper when a cutie at the LFS gives you his e-mail address after talking about cichlids for almost an hour....

You know you a fishkeeper when you put your tank on you phone.

You know your a fishkeeper when your fish tanks are cleaner than your house...

When you think about what you need to do with your tanks tomarrow while you are "doing naughty things" (maybe its just a woman thing??)

...when someone asks you what fish you have and you respond by taking 5mins to tell them all the scientific names.

...when you go to someones house, you look for places where you would put an aquarium

...when you go to the beach or any body of water, you zone out on looking at the aquatic life and observing it in its natural habitat.

...when you see a fish tank on TV or a movie that has incompatible fish and it bothers you

...when you try to advise people against buying their fish at walmart. and when you try to help the people at petsmart against buying incompatible fish.

YKYAFKW Aquaria Central is at the top of your most viewed internet sites list, lol.

On a serious note ...

You know ...

When you are concerned about keeping a breed of fish pure. Or trying to help decide if a breed should have its own classification.
