Zebra Danio Fry!

But otherwise do the same and soak it in the sun for a few days? Or could you just boil lettuce and use that water? I know that wouldn't have microorganisms, but would it release enough nutrients? I believe, based on my culinary knowledge, that vigorously over-boiling vegetation releases a lot of nutrients, as well as turning the water green. Although, come to think of it, I could probably do the same thing with flake food, and to greater effect.

Thanks,
Brian

I do not think lettus has any nutrients to boil off. If you were to "Boil out the nutrients", how are you going to feed the water to your fishes. Just wash some lettus leaves and drop them into aquarium water, but maybe too late for that. It takes about a week or so to grow infusorium that way.
