Zombie Survival: Do's and Dont's

Oh my gosh, my friend was trying to show me that! I really don't get it, it says 'natives' not zombies and I think bkw has a point, the zombies wouldn't show up on the thermal, unless the decaying process gave off heat.

i just thought it was pretty crazy looking LOL..they're supposed to be in Chernobyl..so..who knows..lol

im sure its fake, unless they were a bunch of cannibals

Looked realistic though, the people in Chernobyl with the radiation 'n' stuff wouldn't have been turned superhuman cannibals, I hope.

I didn't even notice it was supposed to be in Chernobyl.......and how hard could it be to rip somebodies limbs off? you don't have to be superhuman do you? Looked real enough to me, but im sure it's fake....I hope.

Ok, Major DON"T!

Never walk alone through an unfamiliar town in the middle of the night and:
1. take a tour of the scenic construction areas;
2. accept rides from ppl that "eat and drive";
3. do your grocery shopping late at night;

as this unprepared sould who obviously didn't read this thread :headshake2:

"What to do" Scenario

With today's tougher travel restrictions, we can't all tote around our favorite machete, baseball bat, or sawed-off shotgun whenever we are required to travel. Even if you traveled by car, you still need to leave your Zombie repsonse kit at the hotel or in the car while you go out in public, or go catch POTC:AWE at the local cineplex. I have always traveled by car to Colorado when visiting my in-laws, and depending on the route I take, I would either stop off for the night at a place either in AZ or UT - not anymore!.
Along the route, we would pass by small towns that looked safe enough during the day, but you knew in your heart of hearts, they would be bad choices if you had car trouble, and had to stop there for the night :eeK:. Of course, it would be easy to spot a shuffler, but, (and I stress "but"), what if the entire town in which you had to stop for the night were "undead", and they didn't let on AND, you fell into their trap?

Take a look at this clip from the movie Dead People (1973) and observe where this victim went wrong (other than getting out of bed that day). We know what would happen to the "unprepared", but for those of us that say we are prepared, what would you do, if you fell into their trap, and you were only armed with half a box of popcorn, some Mike 'n Ike's, and a bad, bad, feeling?
DOH!:wall:

In that situation Mr U. the best thing to do is find the nearest chair, sit down, tuck your head between you legs, and kiss your arse goodbye.

She wasn't the smartest person in the world, i mean the guy ate the head of a rat and she had no real reaction. At that point i woulda jumped out the car and turned the other way, taking my chances with the wolves.

Other then that she went wrong when she started following stange people and not listen to people when they tell her that everyone in the town is a zombie lol.

That's why I always carry something, anything in my pocket to help me: lighter, something which catches alight easily, a heavy black pen to write on walls to indicate hide-outs to survivors (zombies can't read can they?).

I can't carry around a hockey stick everywhere, not even my trusting bowling pin that I have in my locker at school but I do abide by the scouts' rules,
"Always be prepared"
(Though they probably didn't think of that with zombie invasions in mind)

*That movie didn't really seem to have zombies, in that situation I'd probably try to torch the drapery at the back. But for her, without anything... I don't even want to think about it, but can't you tear through the screen or use the safety exits at the front? Or were they locked too... she didn't try them, apart from the fact the usher was in one, I would at least have tried the one on the other side.

if i were unarmed..i'd probably try a run for it..and if that didnt work..i'd sit down, and cry like a baby..lol
