Zombies -- Mafia #11

Well it can't be that early because any investigation shows innocent the 1st 2 days and the sheriff and Dr can't communicate till Day 3.

Think that you read the rules wrong, Ice. See below for role descriptions of Doc/Sheriff. It looks like they communicate immediately.

You are the town’s Doctor. You are trying to develop an antibiotic to protect the citizens of ACville. You have a weak serum and it has limited duration so it cannot be used on the same person more than once. At the onset of night, you may protect one person with it and it will save them from being turned or killed by the zombies, starting with night #3. You may communicate with the Sherriff.

You are the town’s Sherriff. Your job is to locate and eliminate the Zombies. You can do an investigation each night in your search to rid the town of this evil. You may communicate with the Doctor.

@ Ogre

what you say about me 'wanting to be investigated early' is dealt with already by me pointing out that in fact this can happen with any real significance only as early as night 3. This was said in response to your quite frankly odd suggestion that I should just be voted out now, to be on the safe side.

you did not appear to be joking as regards my 'paranoia' in your earlier post. I invite anyone who wants to read my first post, then read ogres post 41. In post 41 Ogre says :

OK, Coler's in super paranoid mode, but he's also most probably a zombie or soon to become one. I'd almost rather just lynch him and have him gone than working for the zombies. OK, the first zombie turns are random... that's goofy too cause we can't predict.

this is a joke ? only in retrospect Ogre, only in retrospect.

you don't address the wrongheaded, in my opinion, logic of voting me out now just to be safe.

you're still my vote pending developments.

Guys, might I suggest we (y'all) quit discussing the sherrif's role. You might be giving them some ideas, but you're also giving a free ride to the zombies. All they have to do is follow your advice and then declare themselves the sheriff.

can't possibly agree - there is nothing in what I or Mad has said that could be of any assistance to the zombies.

edit : (so as not to chuck up another fresh post )
BTW: My most likely zombie list is the ones who haven't posted yet.

Ogre...please explain - Guppy said she would not join in until Monday I believe, leaving only JL and jpap as non-posters...how llikely that the two of them are our zombies ? In my opinion scum join early.

i find the best way to get answer is by voting for someone.
i vote to destroy the brain of mad

i hav a can of sprite and a box of wheat thins......im readyto destroy some zombies

Thanks I did misread it.

Either way investigations are worthless the 1st 2 nights as everyone shows innocent. The most they could do is steer us away from one another. But I agree that would be a mistake, it would be safer to just push for a vote on a player they assume is evil.

I understood that by 'steer' you meant vote elsewhere and plead the lynchee's innocence...thing is, anyone campaigning for another player's innocence (especially on day 1 or 2), is sure to raise suspicion among the zombies. IMO, if another power role is about to be lynched, the sheriff should vote elsewhere, and maybe campaign for the 'guilt' of HIS candidate, and NOT for the 'innocence' of majority's candidate. Campaigning for anyone's innocence is going to earn the sheriff a close look by the zombies.

can't possibly agree - there is nothing in what I or Mad has said that could be of any assistance to the zombies.

Note the statement in blue... that's basically an instruction. No one but the sheriff and the doc know who the sheriff is. He can't come out because he can't be protected every night. So if someone does what mad suggests, then they could claim to be the sheriff and say they were following Mad's instructions.

OK, There's JL and jpap as non-posters... so? That's what I'm thinking. I didn't say it was right. Jesus, you're a sanctimonious guy... from now on I won't be able to say crap without you jumping all over me. But when I say something against what you said, I'm instantly vote worthy.

That's one reason that I was "ALMOST WILLING" to lynch you first. Note the almost willing part.

Of course, now I'm defending myself, which is a sure giveaway to zombieness. :shakehead:

Listen, I wasn't going to vote for you. I wasn't planning on voting for you. When you see my vote in bold, then you know who I'm voting for. I'll also tell you why and it will probably be a better reason than because he's a good player that will probably be zombified unless he's already a zombie.

I'm done with this conversation. If you have something more than me accusing you of being paranoid, then bring it, but until then, I don't want to hear about it.

Whew! I'm here, I was watching football and had no idea the game began...All I can think of with this game is the prepearations my friends and I went through while they were living in a farmhouse in college....We had plenty of swords and axes that we knew would come in handy during zombie attacks. I finally get to put our preparation to use...Sweeeeeet....

*ahem*
