I have an unused 10 gallon and i was wondering if any one had any luck with these lizards and i'll post tank pics later when i get the tank set up thanks
What do you mean by luck? Lol, I've been keeping LG's for over 15 years now and have probably hatched over 100 eggs. There's not much to it. A 10 gallon tank is good for one adult gecko. I don't have as many as I use to but I keep one pair in 20 gallon long and a trio in 30 gallon long aquarium. Leopard Geckos are a great choice for a first lizard. If you have any questions about their care, I'd be glad to help!
Hmm....it could have possibly been sick when he purchased it or dehydrated. To be honest, most baby leopard geckos I see in chain pet stores are in poor conditon and look very dehydrated. You should look online and see if any reptile shows are coming to your area. Thats a great way of picking up a healthy animal. All my leopard geckos that I have were bought at reptile expos or hatched by me.
Are they the normal coloration or are they the designer morphs? Some of the new morphs can go for thousands of dollars here. I just have normal and high yellow morphs but I will be picking up a nice Tangerine male at the next reptile show I go to.
Do not know what yall mean by luck but I have them on the back yard fences, on the trees in the back yard and on the rear exterior wall of my house in the spring, summer and fall.
