thx, i might get some pennywort.

Also, i was wandering about getting some background plants, as i have very few. i was thinking elodea, cabomba, red ludwigia, or something tall and grasslike. any suggestions?

I would get a marineland penguin 350 bio-wheel HOB filter(up to 70G). I used it on my 20G, and it kept it crystal clear, and was silent as long as the water level was perfect.

Very cheap online compared to in stores.
Or you could pay a bit more money, and get an emperor 400 bio-wheel HOB.

the in store prices are double the online ones

i would go with the 1st one(the pic for the actual item is the 2nd pic, which is larger)

Vals are definitely one of the easiest plants I've ever had...send out runners like crazy!
yeah, I know. I started with five 2 months ago, and now I have over 100. I sold a lot, and gave some to my LFS for store credit, and know I am going to buy some more fishes.

Just an update here, today i went to the LFS and got 5 Kyoto, 5 White Ribbon, and a small Wisteria. Its looking really nice, and the fish are already looking happier. The white ribbon provides a lot of hiding spots among the leaves, and even my leopard bushfish is out and about suprisingly often today since i got those plants. Its awesome.
