this is a very neat build!

i get egg crate from home depot, they're 10.90 for a sheet almost 4'x2', i just cut it to fit, these are 3.8" thick, i would rather have 1/2" thickness i believe they do have them, but they dont carry them at my home depot.

more progress.. i still need to do the bottom side, but i need more great stuff for pond before i spray again. this part of the build took 3/4 of a 16oz can of greatstuff for pond and stone (fish safe).

looks really good, i subscribed to this one. apparently all great stuff is safe for fish, theres even a member who has it in a reef tank

you can use epoxy if you want, but I think it looks better without it.
I wish I could get fresh water crabs..

If you are open to suggestions on the Bonsai selection, might I throw in my $0.02? I think A Dwarf Hawaiian Umbrella (Schefflera?) with A root over rock style would look stellar! Or couple that tree with the humidity that you will have, and you should get some banyan looking aerial roots hanging down.
