No I dont got any of them standing in water cuz I keep forgetting to pic some up from work. Im hoping im not making a mistake but Im using the filtered water from the place down the street that we get our drinking water from. See what happens. If it goes good sweet if it goes bad then well ummmm oops
None of the ones at work have dew yet but I think with the heat in my room mine suffered way more compared to the ones at work who have AC keeping the store warm instead of HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah my Dew doesnt look like it does in the pic no more. It looks sad leaves begining to curl some dried up. This heat wave was horrible and the dew got hit the worst.
Yeah, capensis aren't all that heat tolerable. They come from a milder climate...rarely gets past the 80's during the summers of coastal South Africa if I'm not mistaken.
You can use a 50/50 mix of peat/perlite for all the plants you have. I've personally come to hate perlite... especially for VFT's. If you have access to it, I would recommend Aquatic Plant Soil instead.
