ACK! it is....I guess it was just a wrong picture, and the grassy one does look like sagittaria....

No, it wasn't just the wrong picture. The latin name for amazon "compacta" sword is Echindorus bleheri "compacta." I can't find "echino xingu" on any other site than the aquadise one. I still think the grass like plant looks more like vallisneria, since it looks straighter than sagittaria. Sag seems to bend over more than val.

Something interesting is how similar these two plants look.

Such negative feedback I've seen said towards aquadise lately. Heres what we all seem to keep forgetting. We are all human. People make mistakes. I'm about 90% positive given the transactions I've done with aquadise that if they have made a mistake and if you inform them of it they will work with you to resolve the problem.

Tip: Want GUARANTEED Live Plants??
Pay Extra For The Shipping.

Tip 2. If you're fearful that they will not send you the Correct plants Simply message them with perhaps a photo of the type of plant you're wanting to be certain they do indeed have that plant and did not make a mistake in their description and or photographs. ( This is sort of becoming a hassle with this, but for those of you who are so "uncertain" now.

Last but not least I've done Three transactions with this seller all have gone smooth, i am awaiting a shipment of Swords Currently. Will post again when they arrive.

Heres a photograph of my tank. All but the Moss and the sword in the back are from Aquadise.

Here is how the arrived. You will note the pearl grass is not in this tank as i removed it cause aparently i was not able to provide enough nourishment to that plant with this given tank.

I just hearken back to the days of my youth when I tried to incorporate live plants into my community aquarium. I even had one that flowered twice with tiny lilac-colored flower spikes... then it melted and withered and fell apart and left a huge mess like the others did. I had a black thumb for aquarium plants.

So even though I know more about how to keep them now than I ever did (I buried rhizomes, didn't vacuum my gravel, and I had a 12-watt fluorescent over a 29-tall for lighting!) I'm still on edge about investing what I have in planting my tank.

I have about $50 worth of stuff coming my way and I'm nervous as all get out about messing it up and losing it all. O__o;;

Honestly, from him, you get what you pay for. For instance I ordered Giant Hygros, Echino Xingu(sounds like a barbarian warlord!) and Alternanthera Roseafolia. Well heres what I got....and I cant even tell if what I got is what I ordered:

I was really excited 'bout these, but as you can see, they died

is this the echino xingu?
Wait!!!!! I bought those same plants from him!! They didnt die! When I put them into my tank, the leaves fell off... then they grew back on! It will prob. be the same with yours!:D :)
