Hmmmm, I do belive that Dap is well known for their outdoor latex caulk. GE silicone would be your best silicone option.

DAP Was mentioned earlier in this thread, however it was specifically stated that it was the aquarium specific DAP which from what I see is not what you have.

I used DAP's aquarium safe silicone to build a cave and it worked great. It stinks though!

so what i used (the first one) wouldnt have killed my fish? i had 3 goldies die in this tank and i want to make sure it wasnt the silicone.

I've read that many of the commercial tank manufacturers such as Marineland use Mementive RTV silicone:

I thought "GE Silicone I" was good stuff and that "GE Silicone II" contains mold and fungus inhibitors (possibly arsenic) in it.
