Looks like a 29 to me. Probably wouldn't mix a seahorse with a clown or any other semi-agressive+ fish. Also avoid other big eaters and fast moving fish. Seahorses need a fairly calm tank with little competition for food. Species tanks are ideal. Gobies and small blennies like the tail spot would be good tank mates. If you really want seahorses do your research and I recommend captive bed (not just tank raised) SHs. Getting a healthy SH is key. Seahorsource.com is highly recommended by seahorse keepers. Definitely do some research as they have specific needs and need to be fed a fair amount and at least twice a day. Checkout the Seahorse forum on Reefcentral and seahorse.org to get some good info.

Just get a bag of caribsea dry sand. $15 to $20.

Those gobies would work fine with clownfish.. I have that same one in my 75G. They are pretty aggressive/territorial fish for a goby, but only towards other gobies. So if you have a 29G tank that would probably be the only goby you would want to put in it... but you can put in a blenny as well, lots of those to choose from.

For cheap sand, I agree with Greech and recommend to play it safe and get caribsea dry sand.. you know it is good and not that expensive. Others try and go super cheap and get playground sand from a hardware store, but you have to be very careful to get the right type (calcium based, NOT silicate based) and that can be hard to find depending where you live.

Yup looks like a standard dimension 29 gal. and I must agree on the sea horses, they are better kept in a species tank only because with even the smallest amount of food competition, they will starve.

Cute! Okay, I'll look at the carib sand. I probably need about 40lbs, for the main tank and the cycling station in the sump

And so it begins...

Took the silicone out of the 29, and I cleaned the corners. I plan on redoing it later today. I cut the acrylic, but its like 1/8 of an inch too big lol. Crap. I need a sander or something.197284_1689415401929_1434052637_31557093_105302_n.jpg198238_1689417001969_1434052637_31557101_328468_n.jpg
