Dear god, I'm looking at that petrol station and glad I don't have to drive in UK. 97p a liter is ungodly. Last time I was there it was 70p a liter and I thought that was bad.

why how much do you yanks pay? and isnt your petrol watered down a lot ? we get 95ron or 97ron over here i am sure i have read you get about 90ron over there which is why when ever an american car gets brought into this country it can have the fuel remapped and easilly get an extra 30-40bhp sometimes more

I paid $2.85 a couple of days ago. Now the price is about $2.83...per gallon. Not per liter.

But seeing as how I drive a SII Land Rover, thats WAY more octane than I need! (Being British, you should know all about old Landies!)

im in sheffield and we were hit pretty bad by the flooding on monday luckliy our house was ok althoug ive been pretty worried about the electrics going out!!)

just a quick update really, got the first thin coat of cement on it last nite, crap pics because i took then with my phone but it gives u an idea, it was a bit messy but good fun.

i will put the second layer on wednesday nite and then on friday nite the third layer, and hopefully have it all silicon'd into the tank as well
