was setting up a marine tank and wanted to put him in there soon, and gotten suggestions that he would be fine. besides it hewlp just having one tank to change and mix water to one salinity, as he is still in the qt tank 10g,
been increasing it for a while and he seems to love it..

It's just that these fish actually rarely visit the ocean & never as juvies (although do quite well in marine conditions as adults), so we don't know the long term effects of putting them in SW as a youngster.

Well on the puffer forum it says when they are young it can be from 1.08-1.015ish. It does seem though that many people are keeping their GSPs in marine at a young age, just because it's easier.

I've got my Milton in 1.010ish
