I keep seeing the cat thread being bumped and dogs need love too!
So share your stories(and pictures) of your pups!
I will start
This is my baby girl Zoey!
She is a schnauzer mix of some sort. I got her when she was 10 months old. Here's a picture from the day I brought her home.
She has been my pal ever since then. Even when she was in the pound she was still the happiest dog on Earth! She loves everyone and everything and is a joy to be around. She will be turning 9 years old next month and she still acts like a puppy.
My other dog is my shih tzu Bimmy. He will be 6 years old tomorrow!
He came from a family that had him for 4 years. When the new baby was born he started marking in the house so they got rid of him. I happen to hear about it and we took him in. He has no paper or anything and after some research I believe he came from a puppy mill.
He is such a sweet guy and we've had no problems with him marking. He's also very smart for a toy breed and has done well in training classes. In August he will have a temperament test to see if he can become a Pet Pal, which is a dog that goes to visit children in hospitals. He has such a laid back attitude I think he'll do great!
Now because I'm a dog mom here's pictures from last Halloween!!!
If you can't tell Bimmy was Peter Pan and Zoey was Tinkerbell.
I'm thinking this year Bimmy will be one of the flying monkeys from the Wizard of Oz!
