Windows Vista

Hate it!

I just spent two-grand on a top-of-the-line computer with Windows Vista. It's about 3-4-times faster than my old computer, in theory, but after all the bugs, error messages, crashes, and other inconveniences from Vista I have to deal with, it works out to only being about 25% faster.

The computer store won't send me Windows XP. Something about me having to buy it again. Too bad I sold the old XP licence with my old computer.

Yeah, Vista's a bit different in terms of how its components work. That can certainly grow on you, and in fact, it already has.

But what hasn't grown on me are all the error messages, freezing, and crashing.

To anybody wanting to buy a new computer, pay the extra to get a Mac!

well, everyone saw that XP wasnt perfect when it originally came out.. and they made the predictions about vista, i don't think anyone was holding a gun to your head when you bought this computer either.
