In the interest of full disclosure, this is driving me nuts. I read one post that says she's the det, and I think, "Yeah, I can see that." Then I read the next post that says something isn't right and I think, "Yeah, I can see that too."

So you investigated DD first and she's a Don.
You did not investigate blue, jensons, or clownlover, even though they are your top suspects?

You investigated people that are hard to read...

I can see that. I don't think I agree with it, but I can see the logic behind your plan. We have plenty of time, so let's work this out and decide, as a town, if we should follow LadyG.

To be honest, as I write this, I'm leaning more and more her way. I still think discussion is better than a lack of discussion, so I'll keep my vote where it is for now.

ok, maybe I misread?...thanks then, i am going to double check the rules, if thats true, I will feel much more confident in my decision to vote DD

I guess I am inclined to believe her after basically being in her shoes. In the werewolf game I was the Seer (same role as Detective, different name)...I helped lynch DP on night one and investigated Zsandmann...both were werewolves and I totally panicked. I couldn't sleep, it drove me crazy trying to think of every possible scenario. I ended up coming out on Day 2 asking the Doc to protect me because I just couldn't sit on the info. At least in this game the Detective and Doctor can communicate outside of the thread, so if she's telling the truth, she knows for sure the Doc believes her and has her back, so I think it's even safer for her than it was for me. There's always room for doubt, but I believe her as much as the skeptic in me will allow.

ok, again thanks, that eases my mind, was just worried about as i sat here, and thought I needed to say it to see if my worries were unfounded.

Why?

I am willing to admit that LadyG may be det. I know that power role often get suspected because they are trying to get as much info as possible to make a good decisin for the townies. I know that it is a hard, thankless road.

I just can't get past my OMGUS reaction to LadyG. I want to vote for a mafia. I have been trying. It may turn out that my last 2 nights' votes have been wasted. I'd hate that, but could own up to it. I don;t know how to make up my mind.

Ogre agrees with LadyG's claim. I have been suspicious of Ogre since yesterday. I made a post to that effect. I am now nervous tha he agrees wit anything I say. Even whenI am a PR good guy, and Ogre is a townie, he picks on me. (Although I am eternally grateful to you for using my real name on occasio. :) ) This makes me think that he is trying to 'blend in" as a townie.

I don't know. I can almost always pick out the "other" players, but don;t have the best record of separating the scum from the cream

LadyG, if I vote for DD will it ease your mind about me?

Not since yesterday morning after I made my case for him and voted for him. He posted a list of suspects, said he had to get to work and that he'd give his reasons later...hasn't posted since. I saw him viewing the thread this morning, but he didn't post anything. I even made a post earlier today to remind him I am still waiting on his explanations of his list.
 
This is the sucky thing about the detective coming out with a known mafia. Everyone gets so quiet =/ I agree with LG that I wish we'd gone to 24 hour days.
