I know he was lynched, I just wanted to give Swayde my full analysis of everyone on my list, living or dead. I also mentioned that his playing style reeked of mafia and gave an explanation of why it should have played out a certain way. It did not, which made it very confusing. Usually behavior like that is used to draw attention. Instead he got himself lynched for no reason. Quite odd.

Sorry Dep, I was going to answer to this early when on but ran into the DD post and laughed so hard I ended up forgetting about it.
First thank you for answering for me. I agree he seemed mafia though, just found it strange you added him..but if that is why then I guess I see it. I just didn't see in there where you were adding him b/c of that and the way it was worded looked to be present not past.

Ok so I've done something thinking.. And again I want to believe LadyG but that nagging little thing is sitting back in my mind. I haven't had time to fully research it and am not willing to cast a vote until I am more committed to one side or another. But I did go back and read the rules. Here are two things that I think we are ALL forgetting about.



In the past games I have played when someone was saved by the doc Bob's description of the even always included something to the effect of the "Doctor rushed in and applied" something, "Or the Doctor injected " something etc.. Last night we saw that a strategicly placed mirror saved the person. (Bob never said innocent).. In fact he didn't even give us a hint as to who the person was..[/COLOR]

Again I WANT to believe LadyG but the timing of her coming out, the number of games she has played at least leads me to believe that she should have a grasp of when it is good for the DET to come out, if at all.. She wasn't in danger last night from a lynch... Its all just tooooooo questionable for me right now. To top that off I had seen DD as being helpful to the town (somewhat) at least more than LadyG had been, or at least that is my recollection when going through posts during the LadyG, Blue and DD catfight.

I know I need to do more research but I have to work today and probably am not going to be back until late. I have a 16 cable install and need to get out of town as it stands.

Can someone else help me out here?

This post stood out to me big time. Yes, I do understand being worried about believing me and now DD has made it so obvious I am telling the truth to say you don't believe would be a bad move. What caught my attention was the part I highlighted. Swayde pointed out that it did say "Tonight's mafia victim is in a heap on the floor, crying tears of joy, that they are still alive, thankful for the Doctor's Protection and heads up advice." Also I don't recall Rb saying in past games who the protection was on.
I understand (kinda) missing things in post when in a hurry, but you were so thorough even going back to the rules to pull up what it stated but you missed that part of the protection post? I find that very hard to believe, you see I think you just figured others would look at your post and be like OMG he's right..did you forget what game you are playing, many ppl look back and check the info that is posted.

Whew, lots of reading, and not as much info as I expected. I'm probably going to end up voting for DD or G in the end, probably DD, but I'm holding my "tongue" for now on this one... Have to see what happens...

Wow that was the worst try at shifting blame. Even if it was true you're dead at night fall and then LG would be next night fall. Why do that when you could have been the sacrifice and had LG lead the town by the nose?

If anyone is holding the grudge it would be you and not LG. But we all know it was a SAD attempt on your part.


I agree that CLs posts are somewhat strange. Looks like he took a page from Colers playbook. ( Anyone hear anything about him?)

Long detailed posts that look good. But in trying to save a lost cause he seems to have outed himself. Same with Ogre IMO.

I have to say I like that list alot Ice, Ogre is one I keep going back and forth on..but the way he keeps saying DD has been helpful? That really gets me, I agree she has done nothing (Until now) to draw attention to herself and make herself look guilty but helpful....no, not at all.

I vote to lynch DD. For the record, I disagreed with LadyG's plan, but it's done and I believe her, especially after DDs lame attempts.

I think DD did more to help LadyG thatn LadyG could have.

Ice, I would encourage you not to place JMax and DP on the back burner.

Again, Ogre can you show me where she's been helpful? I don't see it, I've asked you before and am still waiting on this answer.
I agree Jmax and DP should not be on the back burner, but Ice already answered to this..they are not.
My ONLY reservation with DP is the Charlie and Dj mess. They both seemed mafia because of their posting and ended up innocents. I'm still spinning on the fact Dj wasn't mafia:y220d:

I am not sure if we should pay any attention to anything DD says. This stuff might be important if there was a chance that she was innocent. Which she has already admitted to being mafia, so all this stuff is just BS.

Is Ogre trying to connect DD and Ice? Is DD trying connect herself and Ogre?

Does this make neither of them connected or both of them? I don't want to put too much weight into any of this non-sense, but I want to point it out.

While I could care less what DD says, I am interested in what Ice and Ogre say. Maybe they both should be moved up a motch.

Now folks were saying that his plan was anti-town, and in a big-picture sense, it was, because we could have lost 3 townies in one night. But it wasn't malicious anti-town. Had Chas been mafia and agreed to kill himself to avoid a lynch, he would have HAD TO FOLLOW THROUGH, otherwise he would have been lynched the very next day....NO QUESTION ABOUT IT. This might make sense for the mafia to do if they only needed one more day for a win, but it was Day 1. This made no sense as a mafia plan. Chas didn't seem any more guilty to me than anyone else.

Mad as I stated earlier I was glad for the great detail in your post. I wanted to say something about this section though.

My thinking at the time was that it was a ploy to save Charlie. Djs posts that is.
We lynch DJ and Charlie gets forgotten the next day in the mix. Its happened before when we've had mafia in sight. All Charlie would have had to do would be hide among the others and stay out of the spotlight.

Thats was just my opinion at the time and why my vote stayed as it did.

Yes Ice, I do remember this, but the question I have is, has this ever happened in any game? Like I mentioned in an earlier post, people are always talking about the 'sacrificial lamb.' I don't believe that there's been a game here on AC where the sacrificial lamb has actually materialized.

When DJ started babbling his nuttiness, you said something to the fact that it helped confirm your vote for Charlie.


Here's a quote where you're explaining that DJ is now the sacrificial lamb to take the heat off of LG. Your assumptions were off with the DJ/Chas link, so why are you now trying to link this babbling newbie to LG, claiming that he's once again the sacrificial lamb? This guy (DJ) seems to be making it awfully convenient for you to finger more experienced players...

All that tells me is you guys are either on opposite teams or that DJ has so many votes on him that a vote onto you is for distancing. He shows mafia and when he does you can say see a mafia wouldn't vote for a mafia. But I bet if a few people jumped off DJ onto you and made it closer DJ would be forced to jump off onto someone else to save you. Your team would rather lose a newb then an experienced player.

Even here in an earlier post, where JL questions why mafia players aren't coming to Chas' rescue on Day 1, you explain that the other mafia players wouldn't want to expose themselves. I think that most of the regular players here would agree that you don't come running to a mafia teammate's rescue on Day 1, so why assume that the mafia would start exposing themselves so openly on Day 1, especially when if you think Chas had said something so awful you'd just take both of them down anyway?

I agree, you'd think someone would come to their rescue or throw suspicion in a different direction.

Charlie did kind of bring it on himself though and they could be afraid that by trying they will expose themselves. I know when I was mafia and on the block I didn't want anyone protecting me. If I couldn't talk my way out by myself I didn't want anyone going down with me.

From looking at votes and how they fell, I can't really see any protection at all. At post 400 I had

LG -2- Jensons Ice

any other person had 1 vote.

post 401- 450

onto Charlie went DP CL DC that made it 5 (JL had jumped to DP)

onto DP went JL DD CoolD that made it 4

no one else had more then 1

451- 476

onto Charlie went Ice, Jpap, DD(came off DP), DJ making it 9

onto DP went no one else DD and Sway came off to make it 2

Finally, just curious as to why you still have me leaning mafia. Apparently I made it there in the first place, because I didn't vote for Chas. Then you claimed you understood why I didn't. Then you even started moving Chas voters onto your newer lists. You're not just keeping me there so if I start questioning you again, you can say 'Mafia! Mafia!' again, are you?

Wow, ok..Im trying to take all this in. DJ not being mafia is a total surprise to me. My head is spinning at this point. Two things that I am pretty sure about, that is LG being the det, and DD being mafia.

I also notice the lack of posts today by those that have been posting a lot throughout..

I wouldn't read to much into what she is saying JL, IMO..no Ice is not on her team, I just don't get that, I think she was trying to get to him. Now Ogre as much reference as he has made to DD being helpful...maybe, still don't know though he has had me worried quite a bit now and then, he is one of those I just am not sure one post I think OH YEAH, he's Mafia...another I think naw, he's not.
Either way NO I would not put toooo much thought into anything from DD. Just MO.

ok, so not much has materialized, besides DD's silly accusations, ( not saying they couldn't be mafia) , but they just seem desperate,

on the other hand, could this be "distancing", since she is doing it so sarcastically, maybe they are rolling the dice, thinking we will all exclude ICE, and Ogre off the lists for awhile?..would be a smart tactic?....hmmmm.,....I still think RB picked those roles, and that would be one hell of a team.
